Nathalie (Cameron Diaz) and her husband George (Harvey Keitel) are on vacation with family friend Lance (Craig Sheffer), who's also Nathalie's ex-boyfriend. All is well until another ex-boyfriend of Nathalie's, Kent (Billy Zane), shows up while George and Lance are off fishing. The two fight, and Kent storms off … only to wind up dead in Nathalie's bedroom a short time later, setting off a series of frantic plans to get rid of the body.
