Tony Cheung Chu Wai (Hero) stars as Lawrence Ching, a doctor at a top Hong Kong hospital who questions his own worth when his longtime love, Jackie (Michelle Reis), falls into a seemingly irreversible coma. When a colleague, Dr. Samantha (Ester Wing Ho Kwan), reaches out to him to ease his pain, a relationship develops between the pair. Just when it seems the lovers' newfound happiness will heal their wounds, Jackie awakens from her coma.
