Heart of the Stag

A drifter named Daley (Bruno Lawrence) stumbles upon a rural sheep ranch on the beautiful North Island of New Zealand. He takes a job there and soon falls for the daughter (Mary Regan) of the gruff stag-hunting rancher (Terence Cooper). But the longer Daley works at the ranch, the more he uncovers about a dark secret that bonds father and daughter in this complex family drama directed by Michael Firth.
