George Bernard Shaw's classic stage play, which purposely bears likeness to Anton Chekhov's "The Cherry Orchard," spills onto the big screen in this 1970s BBC adaptation. John Gielgud stars as the eccentric Captain Shotover, who opens his sprawling English manor to his daughters -- and, in turn, to their friends' romantic entanglements. Lesley-Anne Down and Barbara Murray co-star. Bonus material includes a featurette exploring Shaw's life.
