A young law school graduate (D.B. Sweeney) and an inner-city basketball coach (Michael Warren) join forces to save a group of troubled teens from drugs and crime in Chicago's Cabrini Green projects. Promoting basketball as a means of achieving self-sufficiency and confidence, the two men try to keep the kids on the straight and narrow despite the temptations of the street and run-ins with an unscrupulous sports agent.
