When notorious womanizer Sonny Phyffe (Dennis O'Keefe) meets Janie Prescott (Martha Scott), he falls hard for the feisty girl. He changes his philandering ways, and the two are soon married -- but when Sonny's double-dealing father, Hector (Adolphe Menjou), shows up at the wedding, all hell breaks loose. The happy couple just wants to get away on their honeymoon, but Hector launches them into one misadventure after another.
