As a timid new freshman at Yamabuki Arts High School, Yuno adjusts to being away from home for the first time, interacts with bizarre students and faculty members and establishes meaningful relationships with cool neighbors in her residence hall. Throughout the first season of this anime series, Yuno relies heavily on help from her exuberant best friend, Miyako, frequent crash-dieter Hiro and talented fiction writer Sae.
