A trip to El Hierro in the Canary Islands becomes a nightmare for Maria (Elena Anaya) after her son (Kaiet Rodriguez) vanishes on their ferry ride to the island. At first she believes the boy was lost at sea, but months later a child's body is recovered. When the grief-stricken Maria heads back to the island, her return -- instead of bringing closure -- plunges her into deeper mysteries in director Gabe Ibáñez's intriguing feature-film debut.
