Robert Conrad stars in this riveting series about a group of people from all walks of life who come together to form the volunteer rescue team in Bear Valley, a tiny town nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. What seems like an average mix of people -- including a teacher, a grocer and a gas station worker -- proves to be anything but when they're called to duty. Considered heroes by many, they think it's all just part of the job.
