Bankrupt millionaire Cyrus Drake (Leon Errol) is unable to pay his servants, so his valet Mike O'Brien (Jack Haley) hatches a plan to raise some cash. By passing off the maid (Michele Morgan) as Drake's rich daughter, Mike hopes to snag her a wealthy husband who can provide for them all. A young Frank Sinatra was hastily written into the script and sings "I Couldn't Sleep a Wink Last Night" and "This Is a Lovely Way to Spend an Evening."
