To revive their failing marriage, self-absorbed lush Walter Mancini (Franco Nero) and his shrewish wife, Eve (Corinne Clery), embark on a cross-country trip. But when they pick up stranded hitchhiker Adam Konitz (David Hess) -- who's just ditched his accomplices after a multimillion-dollar bank heist -- their excursion takes a harrowing detour. This double-edged thriller set in the Nevada desert also stars Carlo Puri and Joshua Sinclair.
