Umberto Lenzi's suspenseful horror-thriller revisits the seamy side of hitchhiking. Starring Josie Bissett, Joe Blalogh and Jason Saucier, Hitcher in the Dark follows the sordid sideline of a drifter who picks up unsuspecting women asking for rides in his camper -- and then coerces them into role-playing as his dead mother even as he rapes them.
