Ving Rhames stars as Holly Heart, a kindhearted choirmaster who moonlights as a female impersonator in this television drama directed by Robert Townsend and based on the stage play by Cheryl L. West. When Holiday meets a young girl whose mother (Alfre Woodard, in a Golden Globe-nominated performance) is struggling with addiction, he steps in to help them any way he can. But there's only so much he can do before they have to help themselves.
