Hollywood North

  (2003)
Hollywood pokes fun at itself in this comedic look at the sometimes absurdist world of moviemaking. Bobby (Matthew Modine), a fledgling screenwriter, buys the rights to a book and attempts to turn it into his magnus opus. But as often happens, the showbiz machinery grinds the movie's progress to a halt. An actor falls apart on set, the original author is enraged at the events, and a documentary crew happens to be filming everything.
