Home Fires Burning

Set in 1944 in a tiny Georgia town, this made-for-television movie tells the story of newspaper man Jake Tibbetts (Barnard Hughes), who's alienated almost everyone in his life -- including his wife, grandson and even his closest friend -- with his irritable ways. Jake's son Henry (Bill Pullman) is fighting for his country in Europe, but even across oceans, the relationship between father and son is strained. Co-stars Neil Patrick Harris.
