This documentary on civil rights activist Viola Liuzzo chronicles her murder's effect on her family and society and was nominated for a Grand Jury Prize at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. The 39-year-old mother of five, committed to working for education and economic justice, was murdered by white supremacists in 1965 after her participation in the protest march for black suffrage from Selma to Montgomery, Ala.
