In this coming-of-age tale set in Indiana, Haley Joel Osment heads the cast as Robert "Gar" Gartland, an aspiring 17-year-old reporter whose blind loyalty to a friend takes him down a murky path to crime and betrayal. When his best buddy -- high school basketball star Matt Morrison (Ryan Merriman) -- persuades Gar to participate in a robbery, the job goes awry, putting their friendship and the team's chance at a state title in jeopardy.
