The delusions and pretentions people hold are highlighted in this film that tells the story of Harry (John Gielgud) and Jack (Ralph Richardson), two quirky old men who frequent what seems to be an assisted living facility. They engage in polite conversation, but their interactions with fellow patients Marjorie (Dandy Nichols) and Kathleen (Mona Washbourne) suggest that Harry and Jack may not belong there.
