Screen icon Mickey Rooney narrates this fond look back at the Hollywood of his youth, offering a sampling of nearly every type of movie produced in the 1930s. Juxtaposing clips from classic oldies -- including plenty of lavish musical numbers -- with behind-the-scenes footage of the stars at leisure (think Fred Astaire practicing his golf swing and John Wayne honing his vocal skills), the film provides a nostalgic glimpse into Tinseltown's past.
