Five separate features follow Hopalong Cassidy as he does one good deed after another. In Pirates on Horseback, Hopalong foils the plot of greedy outlaws; Borrowed Trouble finds Hopalong seeking a kidnapper in a small town; Hopalong and his cohorts join a perilous search for gold in Dangerous Ventures; and in False Colors and Dangerous Playground, Hopalong continues his benevolent deeds.
