Smack-dab in the middle of the Cold War, two submarines collide beneath the ocean's surface near Bermuda. One is Soviet and the other is American, and each boat's captain must put their reservations aside and join forces. At stake? Saving the ships' crews and preventing further devastation. Rutger Hauer and Martin Sheen star as the captains of the ill-fated ships in this story based on a real incident that took place in 1986.
