French director André Téchiné examines love and happiness in this double feature. Hotel America follows the complex relationship between a successful woman (Catherine Deneuve) and her struggling lover. In I Don't Kiss, Pierre (Manuel Blanc) tries to break into acting. After discovering that he has little talent, the young man is forced to turn to hustling to make ends meet, and soon begins an ill-fated love affair with a prostitute.
