Director Sonja Heiss's ensemble dramedy follows the long and winding journeys of five adventure-seeking Westerners wandering aimlessly through the bustling, exotic cities of Southeast Asia on one long trek to self-discovery. Splitting their time between the search for spiritual enlightenment and access to the next ecstasy-laden rave, the restless twentysomethings find no shortage of ways to escape their problems from back home.
