The resplendent St. Gregory hosts the intrigues of the international set in this soapy drama, with regal Victoria Cabot (Anne Baxter) keeping the big house in order and dashing Peter McDermott (James Brolin) running interference among amorous guests. Celebrities like Elizabeth Taylor and Dick Van Patten flocked to the series, and not even McDermott and his assistant, Christine Francis (Connie Sellecca), are immune to the seductive setting.
