Directed by George Marshall, this colorful 1953 biopic follows the life of the one and only Harry Houdini (Tony Curtis) as he evolves from sideshow performer to celebrated illusionist. Featuring Janet Leigh as Houdini's wife and Angela Clarke as his mother, the film touches on Houdini's crusade against fraudulent spiritualists and includes exciting reenactments of some of his most spectacular escapes.
