Two thugs are out gunning for Kevin Franklin (Sinbad), who owes an astronomical sum of money to a loan shark. Luckily, Kevin runs into Gary Young (Phil Hartman), who's awaiting the arrival of a summer camp friend he hasn't seen in 25 years. Seeing the perfect cover, Kevin assumes the identity of Gary's childhood friend, and before long, the Young family becomes deeply attached to their new houseguest ... until the thugs make a surprise visit.
