Master Lung (Tony Liu) wants nothing more than to beat his enemy Master Tan (Kuan Tai Chen) in the annual lantern-making contest. Lung enlists the help of a former foe, Chun Fang (Lieh Lo), to make a splendid lantern, but the crafty Fang has ulterior motives. Directed by Chung Sun, this beautifully filmed period piece is a bizarre blend of martial arts action and gruesome gore.
