In this gritty, award-winning drama, aspiring police officer Simon (Douglas Spain) is forced to take sides when his childhood buddy Omar (Manolo Travieso), now the neighborhood loan shark, arranges the vicious beating of their mutual friend. As Simon plans his revenge, his brother Pete (JoJo Henrickson) tries to defuse the conflict. Pete must team up with his estranged Uncle Bert, a respected cop, to head off the escalating cycle of violence.
