Tom Sizemore plays Cincinnati Reds baseball great Pete Rose (nicknamed "Charlie Hustle") in this made-for-television biopic chronicling Rose's legendary playing years, his stint as the Reds' manager and his fall from grace when he was caught betting on league games. Rose's addiction to gambling ultimately led to his expulsion from the sport. Director Peter Bogdanovich's hard-hitting film costars Sarain Boylan, George DiCenzo and Melissa DiMarco.
