When a poker fanatic (Timothy Daly) declares he can get a date with a sexy centerfold model (Teri Copley), his buddies decide to call his bluff. And when he shocks them all by not only dating the model but getting her to fall in love with him too, he thinks he's made his point in spades. But there's a wrinkle: The mother (Diane Ladd) of his sultry-but-sweet girlfriend thinks he's nothing but a loser.
