I Live on Danger

In his directorial debut, screenwriter Sam White -- who went on to make his name producing a string of B movies -- presents a tale of redemption with a romantic twist, following newscaster Jeff Morrell (Chester Morris) in his crusade to clear a wrongly accused man (Edward Norris) of a murder charge. Along the way, the journalist finds a love interest in the prisoner's sister, Susan (Jean Parker), who joins him in his fight to save her brother.
