This largely improvisational movie attempts to distill the personal experiences of men and women caught up in the Bay Area's dot-com boom. Set in -- where else? -- San Francisco, the film follows Charlene's (Lee Flores Tsofias) search for love; Susan's (Kerry Gudjohnsen) lust for a luxury car; Sophia's (Maria Bouquet) longing for a bright future; and many others toiling at the start-up Web site HotTot.com, which is on the eve of its IPO.
