Imperial guard Ah Ching (Yuen Biao) vows to avenge a princess after sadistic soldier Fung San (Yuen Wah) rapes and murders her. A swordfight sends the adversaries over a cliff and into a glacier, where they're frozen in conflict for 300 years. But when the ice melts, the warriors remain at odds in modern-day Hong Kong. Now, Ah Ching must save a street-savvy hooker (Maggie Cheung) before Fung San resumes his old ways.
