American soldier and amnesiac Johnny March (Richard Arlen) searches for clues to his lost identity after surviving a bloody battle in France during World War II. Trying to unlock the mystery, Johnny goes AWOL and visits the homes of three of his buddies who died in battle. Love is just around the corner when he meets one soldier's widow, Sally, but marrying her is out of the question until he can regain his true identity. Walter Colmes directs.
