When Vijay defends the honor of the beautiful Manju by throwing acid on a sexual predator's face, he lands himself in prison, and the scarred assailant walks free. To add insult to injury, Manju takes a husband while the smitten Vijay does time. What would the inevitable reunion of the two be without their nemesis to threaten their happiness once more? This addictively clunky romantic film boasts good visual quality and a nail-biter ending.
