In this quirky anime series, young Mimu gets her shot at pop-music stardom and political power when her hero and president of the world, pop "idol" Yuri, holds a singing competition to help name her successor. But when Mimu and the other contestants are kidnapped by villains from another dimension, they must use all their singing skills to defeat their captors and save the world from certain doom.
