If I Were Rich

Hit hard by the Great Depression, struggling businessman Edmund Gilbert (Edmund Gwenn) collaborates with his beautiful daughter Lilian (Wendy Barrie) on a get-rich scheme centered around swindling greedy investors. While prepping their elaborate plan, Edmund and Lilian recruit hapless electrician Paul Martin (Robert Donat) to take part in their ruse. Morris Harvey and Lawrence Grossmith also star in this lighthearted comedy from Zoltan Korda.
