Illuminata: Special Edition

Tuccio (director John Turturro), resident playwright for a theater company, has offered up his latest play, "Illuminata," for production, hoping that his actress girlfriend (Katherine Borowitz) will play the lead. The staff at first rejects the play, saying it's unfinished. When production finally begins, temperamental actors and the opinion of prestigious theater critic Bevalaqua (Christopher Walken) threaten to doom Tuccio's play entirely.
