Immortal Sergeant

Tough but benevolent British army Sgt. Kelly (Thomas Mitchell) has the respect of all his soldiers, an admiration that only grows deeper when he leads them bravely through the desert but tragically dies before they can be rescued. Now, it's up to one of Kelly's most soft-spoken corporals (Henry Fonda) to pick up the reins of leadership and shepherd the troops to safety. Maureen O'Hara co-stars as Fonda's sweetheart, who's waiting in the wings.
