After trying for years to have a baby, newly anointed priest Anna (Ann Eleonora Jorgensen) and her husband face the dispiriting possibility of infertility. But when Anna takes a post as a chaplain in a women's prison, she meets Kate (Trine Dyrholm), an inmate said to possess healing powers. Soon, Anna finds that, miraculously, she's pregnant. But Kate harbors a secret that could have fateful consequences for both women.
