In the Blood

  (1989)
The first hunting safari, taken by Theodore Roosevelt in 1909, is captured here through vintage footage and photographs. When Roosevelt's son follows in his footsteps in 1986, he shoulders the famed president's rifle and, accompanied by his young son, goes in search of elephants and crocodiles. The beauty and danger of the hunt, the bond between a father and his son and a young boy coming of age in the wilds of Africa -- all are depicted here.
