Hit man Eric (Matthew Modine) is called in to ice Lance (James Caan), a Hollywood director blamed for a stuntman's death. As Eric gains his target's trust while learning the tricks of the stuntman's trade, he finds himself drawn to its lifestyle -- and to Lance's daughter (Joey Lauren Adams). Reality sets in, though, when Eric realizes that he still has a grisly job to do in this direct-to-video thriller.
