Playing a renowned kung fu expert recruited to lead a motley crew of mercenaries on a perilous mission, John Liu takes center stage in this engrossing martial arts film. To free a revolutionary leader being held in the fortress of vile warlord Lu Ping (Robert Tai), Cheh Tin Kang (Liu) and his band of misfits must disguise themselves as a traveling circus troupe. But will their act fool Ping's hired assassins and the garrison guarding the citadel?
