Ex-con Donnie Arnett (Charlie Matthes) has no choice but to start a new life when he returns home to find his wife (Tess Gill) living with an abusive addict (Paul Cram), who later murders her in a drug-addled rage and leaves Donnie's 12-year-old daughter (Mackenzie Pelletier) as the sole witness to the crime. But Donnie must balance his instincts to play hero with his desire to redeem himself in his estranged daughter's eyes.
