When Army Sergeant Tim Hennis (John Corbett) is convicted for the murder of an Air Force captain's family, Hennis's family and defense team refuse to accept his fate and soldier on in the appeals process. Based on true events and drawing from actual court transcripts, this juicy courtroom drama also stars Hal Holbrook and Rue McClanahan as Tim's parents, Rick Schroeder as Tim's lawyer and Howard Hesseman as a cunning district attorney.
