A gay man, Steven (Steve Hasley), finds out he's the father of a 10-year-old boy in this familial tale. When Steven's high school friend Nancy (Nina Kaczorowski) suddenly reappears in his life, he's in for a big surprise: Their prom night fling produced a child. Terminally ill, Nancy asks Steven to adopt the son he's never known, and the new dad must decide whether he and his partner, Peter (Derek Maki), have what it takes to be parents.
