While working as a caretaker at a former British politician's villa on the island of Rhodes, ex-businessman Harry Barnett (John Thaw) finds himself charged with murder after houseguest Heather Mallender (Abigail Cruttenden) mysteriously vanishes. Armed with some photos that Heather left behind, Harry attempts to retrace her steps -- and discovers that he's part of a deadly conspiracy in this small-screen adaptation of Robert Goddard's novel.
