The Bonomiya family extends from an ancient ancestral line that dates back thousands of years. Tradition-bound family members have rejected many modern conveniences, and the women in the family, including middle-aged Miki, are charged with watching over evil spirits (inugami). However, if the women fail in their vigilance or ill use the spirits, the poltergeists go on a bloody rampage throughout the village. Guess what happens?
