Irish Tenors: Ellis Island
(2004)|
Ireland's own Frank McNamara leads the orchestra and the Irish Tenors in this moving tribute (recorded in March 2001 at Ellis Island) to the Irish immigrants who entered the New World via that famous portal in New York harbor. A collection of Irish favorites ranging from "Danny Boy" to "The Croppy Boy" are performed, culminating with a rousing rendition of "God Bless America."
