In life, Izo was a ruthless samurai who was trained as a soldier by a powerful Japanese warlord. But after earning the moniker "Izo the Slaughterer," he was executed for his notorious bloodlust, and his spirit now roams between heaven and hell. Whiling away eternity with his trusty weapon in tow, the swordsman seeks his vengeance the only way he knows how -- by killing every human that he encounters.
